MISSION: We are a not-for-profit community chorus whose mission is to provide an opportunity for singers to experience quality choral music in a supportive yet challenging environment, and to share that love of music with others through outreach, education and performance events.

MUSIC DIRECTOR/CONDUCTOR: Nancy L. Stokes, music director/conductor, is honored to again take up the baton as director of a chorus. She was founding director of the Hudson Community Chorus, has over 25 years of experience with church choirs, and served as music director/conductor for more than a dozen productions at the Goodyear Community Theatre and Beck Center for the Performing Arts.

Trained as a singer, she is retired from the University of Akron. Nancy sang with the Cleveland Orchestra Chorus, studied conducting with Robert Page and participated in master classes with Robert Shaw, Robert Fountain, and Howard Swan.
ASSISTANT DIRECTOR, Brian Suntken. Graduate of the Manhattan School of Music, NYC; Certificate from the Ecole Normale de Musique, Paris, France; Master of Divinity from The General Theological Seminary, NYC. For nine years, Brian produced a television series, Music from the Buckeye State, for Hudson Community Television.
From 2007-2013, Brian taught at Tri-C Community College, Cleveland, in their Encore Series, on Opera and Classical Music. He was lecturer for seven seasons with Opera Carolina in Charlotte. Brian is delighted to be part of the musical family which is the Brecksville/Broadview Heights Community Chorus.
ACCOMPANIST: Gail Wirick, accompanist, has served the Brecksville Broadview Heights Community Chorus for over 20 years. She retired from a career in Information Technology and is enjoying more time for her passion - music!

Gail accompanies contests and recital participants, music directs for local community theatres and is active in The Friends Church music ministry.
